The Echo360 Home page makes it simple to find what you need. The Home page provides access to courses and sections as well as to the media you have access to.
How do I get to the Echo360 Home page?
Click the Echo360 logo in the top left corner of whatever page you are on, identified in the below figure. The Echo360 Home page appears, with the Courses tab active by default.
If you access Echo360 through an LMS/VLE, such as Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle, or Brightspace, you may typically open Echo360 directly in a Course. If you need to access your Media library in Echo360, you can navigate to the Echo360 Home page as shown above, then click one of the Content tabs. Or you may use the Home page to access your Groups. But you may not need to access your Courses from the Home page, as the LMS/VLE guides you into your courses.
Seeing Your Courses
The tabs on the left let you pick the sort of thing you need to access. When you first enter the Home page, the Courses tab is active by default. The Courses in the current (or most recent) term are listed first and all courses are depicted as tiles on the Courses page, as shown in the below figure.
Each course lists the the term, the course name, the course number, and the section name. The number in the main panel identifies how many classes there are in the course.
Seeing Your Content/Media
Click the All Content tab on the home page. The tiles change to show preview thumbnails of the media listed there. All Content includes both My Content (stuff you own) and Shared content (stuff that another user has shared with you).
The content tiles provide at-a-glance information as well. They show the length of the video or the number of slides in the presentation, the name or title of the media, and at the bottom of the tile, the owner. If the owner listed is someone other than you, it is Shared content, owned by another Echo360 user but shared with you so you can see it.
Hover over the tile and you get a menu button, as shown in the below figure. This is the entry button to all actions you can perform on the media.
Click the menu button. The options available on the menu depend on whether you are a student, teaching assistant, or instructor, whether or not you own this piece of media, and a few other system settings.
Click on the tile to open the Content Details page. As discussed in The Content Details Page, this page is the one location where just about everything you can do with a video or presentation is available.
